I grew up on the Isle of Wight, where my first introduction to business came from working in my father's bicycle shop. Travel and entrepreneurship arrived early, and one opportunity naturally led to another: Europe, cruise ships, aviation, Thailand, property, hospitality and businesses of my own.

In 2011 I decided to go it alone and opened my own restaurant in Hua Hin. I ran it for 15 years, combining hospitality, operations, customer experience and the practical realities of building a business in Thailand.
